Welcome to the WP3 website! WP3 is the activity in charge of providing technical support to researchers wanting to port their applications on the GISELA Grid infrastructure.
GISELA Virtual Research Communities
A Virtual Research Community (VRC) is a group of researchers working together on common goals and empowered by the use of a Virtual Research Environment. WP3 will interact with new VRCs to evaluate the technical requirements and impact of their Applications and to support their deployment. WP3 will be in charge of identifying synergies among different research groups and to foster collaboration among them encouraging the creation of new VRCs.
The GISELA infrastructure currently supports 5 VRCs:
- Cultural Heritage;
- Life Science;
- Industry;
- Earth Science;
- HEP.

Do you want to improve your scientific results exploiting the GISELA e-infrastructure in a easy and modern way? Fill out the following survey with your application information! You will be contacted to start the integration of your application in the innovative GISELA Science Gateway:
After that, you should provide WP3 team (wp3@gisela-grid.eu) with the following materials about your application:
- the source code and all additional third party software;
- the instructions to build the executable on Linux;
- an example of input and the corresponding output;
- a short high level description of the application;
